Anne is a Penn State Graduate. She is the founder of Associated Louisiana Artists’ Gallery by the Lake and Creative Arts Center of Lake Charles, Louisiana, where she resides. Anne has illustrated many books, including six of Tommie Townsley’s titles called, “Kids Cajun Tales.” Her paintings have won her several awards nationally and locally, but she is most proud of 1987 Artist of the Year, Gateway Foundation, and the Mayor’s Keystone Award (Lake Charles) in 2007.

“I paint simply because I love what I see in nature, people and life. I enjoy working in several media, exercising my artistic right to freedom of expression. I hope I have brought pleasure to those who view my work and that they can sense beauty, nostalgia, and humor in it.”
